Pleasant surprise

I just received my subscription copy of one of the local photography magazines (called "Fotografe Melhor"), and to my surprise found one of my shots in it! Huge thrill!
This is the only picture I ever submitted to a publication, back in March. I'd better not submit any more or my batting average will surely fall!
I have posted it in the gallery - it's a shot of some rather small bees that I called "Final approach".

Congratulations! I know how it felt the first time I had one of mine published!

So how many copies of the magazine did you buy??? :D On my first photo, I think I went out and bought 3 or 4 magazines. When I got a cover, I bought a small handful. When I got a full 6 pages in the magazine with my own article, I bought a dozen (the lady at Barnes and Nobles gave me a real funny look).

I don't know whats going to happen if I ever get a billboard :D :D I don't think I could afford a few of them!!

JD: No release. Just readers' section, which runs a few pages in this magazine. Nor did the bees sign anything!
Stephen: I got 10, because I'm going to have to send them off to the family all over the place. If it ever happens again, though, I doubt if I'll get so many ... unless of course it's a cover (which seems unlikely, somehow) ...
