2GB SanDisc Extreme III problems

I got myself a DMR and R9 a couple of weeks ago. I like it a lot all considered, but experienced one problem: on a 2GB SanDisc Extr. III, only the first 49 files (RAW) are ok. The rest is corrupted in various ways. My Mac (Photoshop CS and Lightroom) will not open the rest at all. I am transferring through a card reader. The DMR shows all pictures/files ok on quick review (LCD on back).

Any suggestions, anyone? I lost most of the work this morning because of this.

To others who might be experiencing similar problems: Turned out that the card reader caused the problem. When transferring directly from DRM, everything work just fine.

Whilst I don't have that problem, my DMR records all 99 images to the 2 Gb Extreme lll cardcard OK, but then the card reader which is built into the CPU of my computer doesn't read it from the SD slot.......but does if I use the CF slot with SD adaptor! The SD slot however works fine with ULtra 2 SD cards.
