Uhh....I hpe not. Maybe a section of the forum....Then again, maybe Jorge has a thing for the upcoming S&M DSLR....that doesn't sound right.

By 'forum' I meant this forum, currently known as "Minolta DSLRs".
Jorge's bias shows because it is filed under "Popular DSLR Cameras" - I wish the D7D and D5D had been popular and kept KonicaMinolta's photo division afloat!

I did my share. I have both the Maxxum 7 film camera and the 7D. Also have four lenses for them, and only one is not Minolta - it's a Tokina 17mm.

If Sony stays with the Maxxum lens mount, we're OK. So far the speculation is that that is what will happen.

I just read the preliminary reviews on dcresource and dpreview (with sample images). Looks good, plus there was mention made of the ccd being the same sensor as on the D200. Not bad, since the alpha will be a little over half the Nikon's price.
