A couple of weeks ago I wrote

"As soon as the Aussie dollar recovers a bit against the US$, I'll be ordering a 21 from B&H."

Well the AUD didn't recover; in fact it got worse, but I ran out of time before my father was to return to Australia, saving me the cost of international postage.

I should get my new lens this Friday. :D

Good going Chris. I chickened out, decided to save a few $$, I am waitning on an A24/2.8. I figured that I have the Tamron Zoom which covers 21mm if I really want to go that wide.

So, dad will be returning with gifts. Very nice.

Yeah - next time the Aussie dollar hits US$0.95 I'll stash some away in my Paypal account in USD.

In the meantime, anyone who gets paid in USD can pick up some bargains on ebay in items sold in AUD. Go for it - our balance of payments needs help! :)
