Hi all,
I just got back in the mail an OM-1n, which I sent to John Titterington in Kansas for CLA. Can you imagine that... all the way from Jerusalem to Kansas, and back.

John takes his time, and I was not in a hurry. He was highly recommended to me by our Michael Fraley. I bought the OM-1n from a student via eB@y for $32- several years ago, and with 6 Zuikos on the shelf here, it seemed like a good idea to do the CLA.

Anyhow, the OM-1n is now like new, and the shutter is almost as quiet as a range finder! Anyone needing John's address, etc., just PM me.
Cheers, Mike

Good to hear of your happy experience! I bought a Pentax ME Super from him several years ago, also a good experience... He makes a business of buying and servicing these film-era SLRs and then offering them on eBay at attractive prices, with the recent CLA of course lending confidence that it will be in good operating condition upon receipt. All his eBay auction titles seem to start with the word "Beautiful..." :D

Mike, I guess now you'll get busy producing pics with it around town? Looking forward to seeing what you do...

Thanks Doug, am doing a "test drive" of the OM-1n. BTW: Do you know John's eB@y Seller or Store name?

Mike, his eBay seller name is simply "Titterington" and I think he does not have an eBay Store. As it happens he now has an auction listing for an Olympus OM-1, ending in 3+ days...
